You don't have to be working on a Microsoft Windows Vista certification to know about the security problems that past versions of Windows have encountered. As a result, Microsoft is paying special attention to security with Vista, and one of the new features Vista features is Windows Defender.
What exactly are we defending against with Defender? Spyware. Spyware programs range from annoying (one pop-up banner after another) to downright destructive (capturing your computer's keystrokes). Windows Defender is designed to operate much like an antivirus program in that Defender will detect the offending spyware and then quarantine or delete the spyware.
Defender gives you this protection in two ways. First, by prompting you for a "yes/no" answer when you're about to knowingly or unknowingly have a program installed on your computer. Defender will also scan your computer to look for known spyware programs and will do so once daily by default. Naturally, this can be changed to suit your needs, and you can also define which files should and should not be scanned.
Defender's Software Explorer feature shows you the programs that are currently running on your computer, as well as which ones will run automatically when you reboot. Software Explorer is very helpful in spotting potential spyware programs, since this feature will indicate whether the program will start when Windows starts, whether the program actually shipped with the OS, whether it's been analyzed as a potential threat, and whether the program has been digitally signed by the publisher.
What if the file isn't spyware? You can tell Defender to "always allow" that particular file. The options for treating potential spyware are "remove", "quarantine", "ignore", and "always allow". You can changes these options for any particular file at any time.
The first line of defense against spyware is the end user, but none of us are perfect! Windows Defender is definitely a step forward in the fight against spyware - and in future Microsoft Vista certification tutorials, we'll take a look at other Vista security features.

Some Facts And Fictions About Make-up
The use of make-up has been around for more than a thousand or so years. Artifacts have shown ancient civilizations used make-up for religious ceremonies and for everyday occasions. Since we know that people have worn it for years then why are there so many questions about it.
People still question whether or not make-up is healthy for you, can it cause cancer, or if it is made out of harmful chemicals. The answer to all three of these questions is no, by the way. So, we’re going to lay it all out on the table for you. We have put together a quick Fact and Fiction list for you of the most common concerns and questions they get from their clients.
Fiction: Cosmetics are not regulated.
Fact: The individual ingredients must be safe, and labeling must be truthful and not misleading. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration have legal authority over cosmetics similar to its authority over other FDA-regulated products, such as foods, non-prescription drugs and non-prescription medical devices. For instance, the FDA can take immediate action to stop the sale of any cosmetic product that does not meet its standards.
Fiction: Cosmetics contain dangerous, toxic ingredients.
Fact: FDA regulations require all ingredients used in cosmetics be validated for safety. If it isn't done, the product's label will read: "WARNING: The safety of this product has not been determined." In the U.S., cosmetic manufacturers are required by law to establish the safety of both finished products and its ingredients.
Fiction: No independent body evaluates the safety of cosmetic ingredients.
Fact: The cosmetic industry supports an independent panel of world-class medical and scientific experts. They are called the Cosmetic Ingredient Review Expert Panel (CIR). This scientific body examines all available data and assesses the safety of all cosmetic ingredients. CIR publishes its findings in the peer-reviewed International Journal of Toxicology and has restricted or banned the use of hundreds of chemical ingredients due to concerns over safety.
Fiction: Cosmetic and personal care products often contain substances known to or suspected of causing cancer and reproductive problems.
Fact: No credible research has ever shown that any cosmetic or personal care products cause cancer or reproductive toxicity. Chemicals found to be human carcinogens are not used in cosmetics. In fact, almost no reports of injury involving cosmetics have ever been reported.
Fiction: Cosmetic companies can use any ingredient they want in their products.
Fact: By law, every cosmetic on the shelf must be safe. In the U.S., cosmetics are regulated under the Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act, which is enforced by the FDA and has the legal authority to regulate the safety of cosmetic products. It rarely needs to use this authority, since cosmetics are made of safe ingredients and because, when necessary, the cosmetics industry has acted voluntarily to withdraw ingredients that have been scientifically shown to be dangerous.
Fiction: Skin-care products are all hype; soap and water works just as well.
Fact: The science behind skin-care products has grown in leaps and bounds over the past twenty years. There is good scientific evidence behind the use of such ingredients as antioxidant vitamins, green tea polyphenols, retinoids, alpha- and beta-hydroxy acids and essential oils in skin-care products to minimize wrinkles, fade dark spots, and strengthen collagen.

Choosing A Digital Camera For Perfect Clarity And Color
A digital camera produces excellent photographs. For many years however, professional photographers have discussed the drawbacks to the digital camera from the perspective of image quality which does not always match that available through a traditional 35mm film camera. The convenience afforded by going digital however far outweighs the minor loss in perceptible quality for most consumers.
For millions of potential camera shoppers, choosing the smallest, lightest camera is most important while others may wish to hold down costs or only share photos online where image quality is limited anyway. For these and other shoppers, finding and paying for a more costly camera may be unnecessary. But for those who strive to capture images that record the most accurate and color correct images, there are choices they can make during the shopping process that can help to assure they end up with equipment that will be capable of producing outstanding images.
The primary decision is not about megapixels; or at least not entirely. A digital camera with 10 megapixels does not necessarily produce a better image than a camera with only 6 megapixels. Megapixels are important and a camera must have enough of them to provide adequate image information for the size print being produced so that there is less noise and better clarity in the resulting image. Unless a consumer plans on producing very large images, 5 megapixels is generally sufficient and 3-4 may be enough if prints will be 5x7 or smaller.
The sensor which captures the light entering the camera lens is even more critical however. The sensor stores and displays data, converting the light into electrons. The sensor can be either CCD (charge-coupled device) or CMOS (complementary metal oxide semiconductor). CCD is the more mature technology and produces images with less noise. They also tend to be more expensive and consume more power but for those seeking the highest quality images, a CCD is the better choice at this time.
An important aspect of the CCD is the actual size of the sensor. Larger sensors provide higher resolution and less noise. Understanding how the size of the CCD sensor influences the quality of images and knowing what size sensor is adequate requires a bit more study. There are several articles available on line which could prove valuable for those wishing to learn more about this topic. Articles at http://www.photo.net/equipment/digital/sensorsize/ and http://www.photo.net/equipment/digital/basics/ are well written and knowledgeable.
A final consideration regarding the sensor in a digital camera is the availability of 1 CCD and 3 CCD models. As one might suspect more is often better. A camera with 1 CCD picks up image and color information through a single sensor. A model with 3 CCD has a sensor that picks up each of the different colors (Red, Green, and Blue) resulting in superior color reproduction.
Certainly the selection of a CCD sensor over a CMOS sensor, a larger sensor, or more sensors is not required in order to own a high quality digital camera capable of producing very good images. However, these features certainly do significantly enhance image quality and are the focus of attention for those seeking to produce the sharpest and most vivid images.

Girls Just Want To Have Fun
Introduction
It probably has been years for many of us, but that is too long… Remember the pillow fights, the giggling, the boy talks, the ice cream… Partaking in slumber parties with our best girlfriends was such a great time. Why do the good times have to be over? They don’t.
Sure, we are more responsible now; some of us have children, husbands, careers, and a million other things going on, but we also need time for ourselves and our girlfriends
Why not?
We suggest reliving some old gaiety with a new spin. Set a date, invite the girlfriends, and plan on engaging in some festivities and indulging in some goodies!
Most of us do not find the time anymore to fully appreciate old, dear friends. It is amazing how months (or even years) can go by without keeping in touch. Scheduling monthly to bi-monthly events will ameliorate the process of keeping-in-touch with the girls.
Old friends, new times
Obviously the content of a slumber party will be different this time around. There will be no more calling those cute boys and hanging up (well, maybe your husbands) or discussing what you will wear to the prom (maybe the next wedding), but there are other activities that are just as much fun. Here are a few suggestions:
- Break out photos or scrapbooks from the “glory days.”
- Watch old or current favorite movies
- Give each other pedicures, manicures, and facials
- Buy wigs and hair extensions to give each other a new look
- Engage in aromatherapy
- Bake cookies, pastries, cupcakes, etc.
- Hire a palm reader
- Throw a purse party
- Hire a make-up artist to give a class
- Give each other makeovers
No matter what activities you decide upon, the main thing is to enjoy yourself and enjoy being in the company of friends. The following relays some beauty tips with ingredients that can be readily found around the home:
- Make a skin cleanser. Dip a piece of cotton wool in milk and wipe on your face. Almond oil is also effective (especially for under the eyes).
- Make skin moisturizer. Mix one cup of yogurt, one tablespoon of orange juice, and one table spoon of lemon juice and mix into a paste. Apply to the face and leave on for fifteen minutes. Using cooked oatmeal and honey will increase moisturizing and cleanse as well.
- Make skin conditioner. Use one tablespoon of honey and blend with 2 tablespoons of cream (of milk). Leave the mixture on for a few minutes and then wash off.
- Rub a raw potato on your face to remedy skin blemishes.
Here is a great appetizer recipe:
Hummus Dip
Ingredients
• 2 cups canned garbanzo beans, drained
• 1/3 cup tahini
• 1/4 cup lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 cloves garlic, halved
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 pinch paprika
• 1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
Directions
1. Place the garbanzo beans, tahini, lemon juice, salt and garlic in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth. Transfer mixture to a serving bowl.
2. Dribble olive oil over the garbanzo bean mixture. Sprinkle with paprika and parsley.

How To Make Money Online From Home The “who Loves Money” Way
The achievements of Kyle and Carson represent the dreams of anyone who has tried to make money online from home, going from a seemingly impossible situation to the kind of lifestyle strictly reserved for the rich and famous. To mark their unrivalled success, Kyle and Carson have decided to put all of their experience and knowledge into one product – Who Loves Money. But with the promise of showing us how to make easy money online, comes a very unusual catch. They are going to show how it’s done at zero cost!
Now that all sounds great, but it does kind of remind us of the products we’ve all suffered at the hands of, the ones I mentioned earlier…full of promise yet ultimately a complete waste of money. In the case of the authors of Who Loves Money, things are a little different. They have previously released highly successful products and run one of the most respected affiliate marketing membership sites on the Internet – Wealthy Affiliate. To put that kind of reputation on the line with Who Loves Money suggests that they know what they are risking, and is a very rare opportunity to own a product that you know will not consist of worthless fluff and filler.
So what will Who Loves Money teach you?
Who Loves Money is a product that shows people how to promote other peoples products online, earning commission when a customer buys from your recommendation. This is called affiliate marketing and is the easiest way of earning money online. The problem with affiliate marketing is that it involves paying for online adverts, which can cost a lot of money and is usually the reason why most new affiliates fail miserably.
With Who Loves Money, Kyle and Carson address the problem most affiliates face - cost. In doing so, they go back to their roots and show exactly how they worked on a shoestring budget and gradually turned it into a multi-million dollar business. The fact that they can still relate to the poorer affiliate and offer them a helping hand in what is a cutthroat business is proof enough that these two guys are the real deal.
If you want a virtual risk free way of learning how to make money online from home, Kyle and Carson offer you possibly the best opportunity you have seen in a long while. Who Loves Money has already made 2 online millionaires, there’s no reason why it won’t do the same for you.

How To Save Real Money When Bargaining With A Private Seller For A Used Car
There are a few ways to honestly and ethically get the car of your dreams for a reasonable price. Follow these tips and hints and you may be surprised how much the seller will discount the advertised price.
Ready to Start? Lets' go.
1. Do this before you even see the car.
When you see the car on the Internet or in the newspaper or the magazine and you are interested in checking it out more closely, do these things first:
a) Check out the price of this car against others of similar specifications.
b) Have your finances worked out in advance. Set your spending limit and stick to it. Offering cash is usually a better option than saying you will need to organize finance.
c) Contact the seller and ask the following questions:
- Is the car still for sale?
- How many kilometers or miles has it done?
- How long have you owned the car for?
- What color is it?
- What is the overall condition of the car?
- How negotiable is the price?
If you're satisfied with the answers to these questions ask if you can see the car at a mutually convenient time.
2. Do these things once you see the car.
a) Check it out closely in all areas and test whether the answers you were given over the phone were correct.
b) See if there are things that need to be done to get the car to your standard and mentally work out their costs. For example, does the car need new tires, does it need a new windscreen?
c) Go for a test drive. Not with the stereo going all the time though, so you can hear the car's noises.
d) Work out, silently, what you think you are prepared to pay as a maximum for this car. Make sure it is equal to, or less than your set limit.
3. Remember these things once you have decided that you will purchase the car, if the price is right.
a) This is not the only car in the world for you. There are others. Maybe, they will be even better.
b) Don't be in a rush to conclude the deal. Take your time.
c) Don't be swayed by seller saying "I have another buying waiting".
4. Do these things when negotiating.
a) Say "I'd like to make an offer".
b) Tell the seller the costs of the items you think will need fixing once you purchase the car.
c) Make your offer taking b) into account and leaving room to move upwards on your price to the maximum you set.
For example, say your maximum spend is $10,000, the car is advertised for $12,000 but you have found $2,000 of work to be done to bring it up to your standard. Make an offer for $8,000 ($10,000-$2,000). The seller may respond by saying that $10,000 is his minimum. After taking a suitable amount of time to consider this response, you can say "I'll go half way, is $9,000 OK? If the seller agrees, then you have purchased the car for $3,000 less than advertised. However, your $9,000 price plus your $2,000 of expenses is $11,000, $1,000 over your limit. No worries, just delay some of the work until you can afford it. The seller feels a bit of pain, you feel a bit of pain and you both are reasonably satisfied with the deal.
These are just some general tips and hints from my experiences in buying and selling cars over a long period of time. I am passing them on to you to help you with your personal finances. You need to be able to save money wherever you can.

Rss Feeds Feed Your Website With Fresh Content.
First let’s understand what RSS is which “Rich Site Summary” is, it can be also known as “Really Simple Syndication”. This is a fairly recent development within the Web Marketing business it can be used as a method of promoting your website and generating the all important traffic required to make your online business a success.
This is how it works a brief summary. A website owner wants to share his content to other websites. The website owner places the content in an RSS document and registers this with a website that provides RSS Feeds.
The content can be anything including articles, blog posts, headlines and general web content that the originator wishes to share across the web.
Because it is easy to do distribute content quickly in this manner you can generate unique web traffic which can assist your online business. The key elements in successful RSS usage are in marketing is to make your RSS feed unique, exciting it must grab the attention of the reader it also should be something that someone would pass onto others.
By creating exciting content RSS feeds it is possible to generate tremendous amounts of traffic. Exciting content is what people thrive on. Everyone loves the latest gossip or technology the latest gadgets reviews can be a very useful in generating good traffic.
You must consider the content of your RSS feeds carefully as this can be the most important element in terms of traffic generation. Put yourself in the person who may read this article or content and find the best clear presentation of your information.
If you write a large article consider splitting it into parts as people like small chunks of information the magic is to create good content of around 500 to 600 words is the target to go for if you have written something of 1500 words then people’s attention span tends to drop off.
The main aim is to deliver your link to your website or the product that you are promoting if the article is too long then you will find that the reader has turned off and does not click on the vital link.
One of the marketing methods recently used is to add blog comments the problem with this now is you have to post good comments and that they are still subjected to spam filter which is good and bad. If you’re comment is regarded as spam you can find your website banned.
Some of the larger search engines are experimenting with blog spam protection and can easily capture you’re site as one of them also it can be used as a malicious weapon in terms of spamming your rival site to get them knocked out of the search engine.
The next few months will see many changes in the world of RSS feeds and blog comments so it’s tricky time. The world of internet marketing is a constant flux of tactics some considered legal some not it’s not easy to get the best current advice on what is acceptable.
By placement of good RSS feeds and keeping an eye on the content you are receiving will be the best defence against being a targeted by search engine spiders that are looking for duplicate content and spammed blog comments.

Learn To Be An Entrepreneur. Minimize Your Risk. Start An Online Business.
In an effort to increase their income, many people start a part-time business. Some of them do something they are good at (like fixing cars), others own a brick and mortar business (such as a franchise), while others join a multi-level marketing program. Have you considered a website? Here are some convincing reasons why you should start an online business.
1. Low Investment Requirement
If you look around the internet, you can register a domain name for as little as $0.99. That means that you could potentially start an online business for less than one dollar. If you look go by the statistics that state that nine out of ten businesses fail in the first year, it would cost just ten dollars to get one to work.
2. Global Customer Base
If you start up a garage, you can only offer services to those in your community. You are not able to fix my car up here in Canada if you live in Texas.
With the internet, you now have the opportunity to reach a global audience – your office can be located in England, but you can sell your product in China. This means that you are not limited by regional demand; rather you should be able to find a lucrative market for your type of product.
3. Collect Money While You Sleep
A traditional business is usually open a limited amount of time per day. A website is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. You can be in the office and the website can be making money. You can be at the supermarket and make money. Even while you are sleeping the website can be making you money.
4. Flexible Hours
Traditional businesses usually have fixed hours and your customers expect you to be there during these times. You can complete orders from your website over the lunch hour, after supper or even at three in the morning. This can free you up to spend time with your family, go to your children’s recitals, and do those things you love to do during the day. This can be very empowering – you have control over your life instead of someone telling you when to work.
5. No Needs To Sell Product
Unlike a traditional store where you would sell a product or offer a service, you can make money online without selling anything. In fact, just by sharing your knowledge and experience, you can make some easy money.
6. Similar Needs
Have you ever needed a service or product that you couldn’t find? Or needed some critical information that no one seems to have? Create a website that addresses that need – chances are that you are not the only one that is in need of that service or information. You took the time to find out about it, why not make some money from it?
Next time you consider starting a business, give a website a try. Not only do you require little investment capital, but you can reach a broad audience, and even pick your own work hours – what more could you ask for.

Selecting a Printer for Your Photos
If you are planning on printing any of your photographs you will need a printer. The quality of the print is dependent upon the printer, the ink, the paper and finish, as well as the print settings that are selected.
Inkjet printers are common, affordable, and can produce nice images. Laser printers are faster and can produce an even higher quality print but they are certainly more expensive. Dye Sublimation printers do not use ink or toner but instead use dyes to produce prints that are photo lab quality; but again they carry a higher price tag.
The following is a list of some of the things you should consider when purchasing a printer for the purpose of printing images:
- Resolution: Resolution is basically the number of dots printed in a square inch. Image quality improves as the dpi increases. A dpi of 1200x600 and up is considered good for photographs.
- Ink Cartridges: A printer with separate cartridges for black and other colors produces better color prints. Some of the best images come from high quality photo printers with 6 colors. If printing black and white images it is also advisable to use a printer with a separate cartridge for black ink so that the blacks are truer.
- Speed: Laser printers are faster but also more expensive. You will see speed indicated in the literature as ppm or pages per minute.
- Other features: There are numerous other features that might be of interest such as a borderless printing feature allowing users to print the image to the edge of the paper which eliminates the need to trim photographs after printing. Some users need a printer that is mobile, one that they can take with them. Some printers have an LCD screen that allows users to preview their prints; others have multiple functions such as scanning, faxing, and copying in addition to their printing capabilities.
- Connections and compatibility: Check to be sure how your printer will connect to your computer and that is compatible with your operating system. In some instances, you may by-pass your computer by using a memory card slot that allows editing and printing from the camera's memory card directly.
- Paper and ink: Better paper can play a significant role in producing great images and in determining how time, moisture, and bright light will affect the print. Paper brightness, weight, and finish vary. In general, paper that is designed for the specific printer you will be using, and for the purpose of printing photos is the best choice. Likewise ink from the printer manufacturer also tends to be a safe bet as cheaper/non-manufacturer labeled ink is sometimes of lesser quality. In addition, manufacturers often produce paper and inks that are developed specifically to work well together. As mentioned previously image quality is enhanced significantly when ink colors are in separate cartridges.

Selecting Digital Camera Products
When buying a digital camera you will want to consider how you are going to use it, the features that are important to you, and the cost. Of course, seeking out unbiased ratings by current users on any particular digital camera is also very beneficial.
There are basically 5 categories of digital cameras of various sizes and capabilities. Size and weight are factors to consider based on how you want to use the camera, where, and how often you want to take it with you. Speed can effect your satisfaction as well; most people prefer a digital camera that starts up quickly and requires the minimum time between shots for processing. Zoom is a factor depending upon what types of shots you want to take and the ability to manually control focus etc. is important for individuals who have more skill.
1. Ultra compact: An ultra compact digital camera is the smallest; very portable, and stylish. Images are acceptable but lower in quality than the any other type of digital camera. They can be a good choice if you are primarily sharing pictures over the internet and/or just want a camera that you can easily take with you anywhere.
2. Compact: A compact digital camera is small enough to fit in a large pocket or purse. The pictures are quite reasonable with better optics that the Ultra Compact cameras. They offer a variety of features which makes them the most popular models on the market.
3. Enthusiast: An enthusiast camera is a bit larger and more expensive than the compact models. They generally offer more features as well as better images and allow the user to produce larger image prints without losing image quality. These models are less expensive than the D-SLR but offer a faster camera, are able to zoom in closer, offer higher resolution, and more manual controls than the compact digital cameras and are therefore suitable for an experienced user or enthusiast.
4. Superzoom: Superzooms are a full sized digital camera which offers 10x or greater zoom as well as image stabilization to help eliminate camera shake. These models tend to be less expensive than Enthusiast models.
5. D-SLR: A D-SLR digital camera is full-sized. They possess a lot of professional features and their performance is similar to that of a 35-mm film camera. Professionals and experienced, avid amateurs are best suited to these models which offer interchangeable lenses. A D-SLR digital camera is the most expensive on the market.
Lenses are an important consideration and again relate to how you will use your digital camera. When talking about lenses one of the primary considerations is zoom. You will hear digital zoom discussed. Digital zoom is a cropping type function in which the center of the image is the focus. Your primary interest however is optical zoom. Optical zoom allows the user to get better quality pictures of images taken at a distance. There are four types of camera lenses to consider:

The Digital Camera: A Better Way To Share Photos
Most of us have at least one e-mail account, so for both the sender and the receiver, this is often a convenient way of sharing photos online. For those with a slower connection, this can be a bit more time consuming however and there is a need to compress files in many instances due to the large file sizes for photos and video.
Windows XP and Apple iPhoto are examples of two commonly used products that allow users to easily compress and then send pictures via e-mail. Many of the major players in the camera industry also offer software and services to assist with this. HP for instance offers Photosmart Share to help in downloading and e-mailing photos. The service also allows users to produce prints.
Building A Web Album or PhotoBlog
There are many tools online to allow users to build their own WebPages and websites; many of them at minimal to no cost. One such example is freewebs.com. Once a site with an album is set up, family and friends can simply be directed to the web address of the site or the particular page where pictures are posted. In some instances, a guest book can be added to invite viewers to submit comments. Printing favorite photos from these pages is not really part of the package however.
Photo logs are often used by those who tend to post photos on a regular basis. Most of the major internet services such as Yahoo, Google, AOL, and MSN offer the ability to post photos from a camera or cell phone in galleries or in PhotoBlogs. The photos can include comments from the poster as well as visitors to the blog in many instances. Blogger is a free service but many others such as fotolog.com and my-expression.com are also available and affordable.
Photo Sharing Sites
For those who want greater functionality, photo sharing sites offer many types of services. Some provide the ability to order prints, print photos, produce holiday cards, and allow the addition of text, music, the production of slide shows and voice captions in addition to offering standard albums or galleries. Some of these same sites accept video as well as photo submissions and may host exhibits and contests.
Flicker and Shutterfly are two well know sites and most of the major names in the industry offer their own galleries as well; such as KodakEasyShareGallery.com and NikonNet.com. A quick search on photo sharing will result in innumerable options such as smugmug.com, funtigo.com, webshots.com and fotki.com. Some online photo sharing sites offer users the ability to download and store an unlimited number of photos from their camera or cell phone while others cap the storage space available. Pricing varies from free to as high as a few hundred dollars annually so a little bit of shopping is required to get the features wanted at an affordable price.

All webmasters know how important it is to obtain quality relevant backlinks to their website(s). Backlinks help to increase both Page Rank and traffic flow. One very effective way to build relevant backlinks is to write articles and submit them to article directories. If you write informative and useful articles other webmasters will pick them up for use on their own websites providing you with inbound links and traffic flow. Webmasters only use articles that are appropriate to their website's subject matter so any such backlinks will be from relevant pages.
If you want to be successful promoting your website in this manner there are a few things you have to keep in mind.
Quality Writing:
Webmasters are looking for high quality content their visitors will find informative or entertaining. If you write an article that is simply a sales pitch there is little chance that it will be republished. Your goal should be to write a useful article that others will actually want to read. If you keep the reader's attention all the way to the end of the article they will be much more likely to read the author resource and visit your site. If you keep in mind that you want to add value to any website that uses your article this type of promotion will work very well for you.
Author Resource:
The author resource is usually located at the end of your article. Most article directories will allow up to three links here, but you should check with their submission guidelines to be sure. Try to make full use of the number of links that are permitted and remember to use links to internal pages as well as the home page. If three links are allowed I recommend that you use a link to your home page, a link to an internal page, and a plain URL. Some webmasters will copy and paste an article into their page and omit text hyperlinks. If you include one link that is simply the url you will be ready for when that happens.
If you submit your article to multiple directories it is a good idea to vary the anchors and links in the resource box.
How to get inspiration and resources to put together a useful article:
Now that you understand the basics behind submitting articles for web promotion it is time to start writing. Where will you get ideas about what to write about? You should start out with ideas from your own website. What is the topic, or theme, of your website? The answer to that question will tell you what to write about. Just remember that you will want those who read your articles to be interested in what you have to offer on the website you are promoting. The purpose of your article will be to attract and keep the readers attention and make them interested in visiting your site.
Resources for article information:
In most cases you will want to gather research and information in preparation for writing your article. One good source for this information is the public domain. Websites like Wikipedia provide information that is copyright free. However, do not be tempted to just copy and paste public domain content.
A keyword search for your article subject will also provide a lot of resources for information that can be used. Just be sure to respect copyright laws and do not plagiarize.
Article directory submissions is a very effective way to promote your website. Whether you write about topics like health, leisure and hobbies or many other topics you will find appropriate categories for your articles.

Ways To Make Extra Money
Would you like to supplement your income with ways to make extra money while you work? Earning a living on the internet is fairly straight forward once you know how. However, for most new people to internet marketing very few people succeed. The most common reason for this is that people do not follow a proven plan and they experience information overload and read ebook after ebook without taking massive action. Using the techniques I am about to show you you could easily earn six hundred dollars a month and if you apply them with consistent action you will grow your monthly income by that amount.
One of the ways to make extra money is to do surveys. Now there are plenty of companies that pay you to help them do market research. For example you could earn twenty dollars to complete a survey that takes thirty minutes. Now if you do two of these types of surveys that is forty dollars in one day. If you search on Google there plenty of sites that offer listings of survey sites free. There are also sites that offer you a comprehensive survey directory listing for a fee. Now you cannot earn a full time living from surveys, but you can make a few hundred dollars a month in extra money.
Another one of my favorite ways to make extra money is that you can piggyback traffic on sites like Squidoo, Ecademy and Craigslist which have very good rankings in the search engines. You do some keyword research and then create content on these website which have highly targeted affiliate links to your chosen keywords. This is a really easy way to make extra money and your content is usually indexed in a few days on the major search engines
Using these ways to make extra money you could easily be earning six thousand dollars a month in a years time with minimal financial investment and only a few hours of your time a week.
Would you like to know more about the techniques that have helped me to quit my day job? I have just completed my new guide.

Motor Scooters
Initially known as a child's push vehicle, the first patents for scooters were filed in the early 1900s for scooters which were propelled by pushing with one foot. At that time motors were not attached to the scooter. Technological advancements led to the development of small, low-powered gasoline engines which, when attached to the scooter and geared to the rear wheel provided a practical and affordable means of transport.
Motor scooters were invented and manufactured in Shangai after about five years of research and development. They were sold under the brand name of Razor Scooters. They were a huge success with waiting lists of up to six months for delivery.
Scooters were made from lightweight aluminum which could support heavy weights without bending. They had low-powered engines and small wheels. Brakes were applied by stepping on the rear fender. They were foldable and could be stored in small places.
Nowadays there are many different makes and models of motor scooters. There are push scooters, electric scooters and gas powered motor scooters. Scooters are very versatile and functional machines. They serve many different purposes. They are modelled on the principle of motorcycles, but have low-powered engines and smaller wheels.
The “foldable” scooter is probably the most common type of two-wheeled model. They are compact and can be folded for storage in small places. They are used for going around short distances. Brakes are applied by stepping on the back fender which puts pressure on the rear wheel to stop it. These scooters are mostly made for children and for adults who need to commute short distances.
Electric scooters are usually bigger and heavier than other types of scooters. They consume more power and can only travel short distances of about fifteen miles before needing a recharge. They are usually used to travel short distances for shopping, for commuting on educational institutions and sports complexes. They are very popular with the elderly, handicapped and disabled as they increase their mobility and independence.
Gas-powered scooters are usually fitted with more powerful engines and larger fuel tanks. They can travel at higher speeds and for longer distances than other types of scooters. Depending on their capacity, some makes and models of gas scooters may have to comply with the Department of Transportation regulations and safety standards.

The Top 7 Guiding Principles to Extraordinary Weight Loss in 7 Days
We, The Detox Diet Divas, Scrub the cells of our body to uncover the vital, lean, happy, joyful being we were designed to be! That’s right: scrubbing, cleaning – detoxifying from the inside out and the outside in. Getting the junk out.
You may be thinking… why do we want to focus on cleansing and detoxifying at a cellular level? What does that have to do with weight loss?!
The Diva’s Answer: Cellular health has been the missing link in zillions of diets on the market, and cleansing your cells will not only melt away the pounds but will also give energy, clarity, emotional balance, and vitality which you may not have experienced since infancy.
When our precious cells and internal fluids are acidic from eating too much sugar, refined and processed foods, coffee, tea, alcohol, etc., etc., etc, they don't have the capacity to perform as they were divinely designed. Your blood is fighting and working like a crazy lady to maintain a clean, balanced environment. As a matter of fact, blood must preserve a healthy balanced internal pH of 7.3 (pH is measured from 0-14, 7 being neutral – below 7 is acidic and above 7 is alkaline).
The KEY as revealed by Dr. Robert Young, in the pH Miracle for Weight Loss: When the cells (which make up the blood) are overly acidic, the blood will do anything it can to balance. It will do so by stuffing the acidic waste in fat cells! The body actually creates fat cells to carry acids away from your vital organ, so these acids don’t literally choke your organs to death. Fat is a response from the body to an alarming condition of acidosis. FAT IS SAVING YOUR LIFE!
So how do Diva’s rejuvenate their cells for weight loss and radiant living?
There are 7 Guiding Principles of the DETOX DIET DIVAS. These principles take in to consideration all aspects of your life. This is a program for living so it will encompass much more than what you consume. Let’s get started:
1.Drink Water - You know this one right? - Lots of water! 1 liter per 30 lbs. of your body weight. But did you know this? You need to drink clean, purified, ALKALINE water. There are many ways to alkalize water, but the simplest is by adding a teaspoon of baking soda to a 16 ounce glass of water and then add lemons. (Yes, lemons are alkalizing.)
2.Sweat - with low impact exercise. Great possibilities are one or more of the following: elliptical machines, rebounders, a fast paced walk, biking, swimming, or the latest . The key here Diva’s is to sweat, sweat, sweat! Acidic overload is removed from the body when we perspire.
3. Consume Alkaline Foods – 80% of your diet should be alkaline-based. What is alkaline? Green Foods: foods that have life and oxygen like spinach, cucumbers, lettuce, grapefruit, lemon, almonds (raw), and coconut milk. I have a detailed list available at www.detoxdietdivas.com. And you’re going to have to let go of those highly acidic foods that are keeping those acid fat cells happy. These include: Coffee, Black Tea, Alcohol, sugar (or anything ending in “ose” like fructose), honey and agave (although Stevia is okay), white flour, and any processed foods. We want to rejuvenate our cells by eating foods that are rich in energy and nutrients.
4. Reduce Stress – Most Diva’s love these options: Yoga, Meditation, Deep Breathing Exercises, Tai Chi and other martial arts, reading, sitting by a stream…. The possibilities are endless and wonderful to imagine!
5. Positive SELF-TALK – The words we speak and think have tremendous power in impacting the acidity of your cellular makeup. When you speak in positive, loving and uplifting ways, the pH of your cells take a huge leap forward toward Alkalinity. Think before you speak.
6. Take Nutritional Supplements and include a high quality SUPERGREEN -- You’ll give your body a huge helping hand if you’ll supplement the nourishment of your cells with vital concentrated nutrients found in SuperGreens and mineral supplements that alkalize the cellular fluids with sodium bicarbonate, potassium, magnesium, and calcium.
7. Use the power of VISUALIZATION – Envision yourself right now as that lean, radiant Diva you are. See yourself having attained the weight and the extraordinary life you desire. The power of visualization is HUGE!
Look at how you can incorporate these changes little by little into all aspects of your daily living. Before you eat anything ask yourself “is this going to help my cells or hurt my cells.”. If you are upset about anything, instead of reacting, take a long deep breath in, then exhale slowly, and just let it go. You will be giving your magnificent cellular makeup a tremendous gift.

Work or Stay Home Mom Dilemma, Why Not Do Both!
by: Bee Ryan
Are you a work at home mom? If so, why did you choose to become one? If you want to be a work at home mom, what is your reason?
Why we become work at home moms varies from mom to mom. Some moms want to be home with their kids, but need to generate an income. Some have always wanted to be their own boss or have flexibility in a telecommuting job. While others, like me, want something to call our own and make a little money while doing it.
There are many reasons and thousands of options for moms. The key is to find a work at home job or business that you love and can build and grow. When you love what you do, you cannot help but be successful.
Being able to work from home brings together the two most important factors for moms. Working from home means moms can be home with their kids and not miss the important moments and still be able to contribute to the family finances and focus on a grown up endeavor. Work at home moms can achieve a great sense of pride in themselves by being able to take an idea and turn it into a successful business.
In the past, the choice was go to work outside the home or stay home. There was no in between. Many moms who worked felt they missed out on seeing their children grow up. Moms who chose to stay home, may have felt some regret once their children were grown and they didn’t have the skills necessary to go back to work after being home for so long. Today, this does not have to be the case. Moms can have it both ways by working from home if they so choose. Spending time with their kids and building new skills and a business.
Working from home is a challenge. Finding a balance between taking care of the children, the house, and growing a business is no easy task. It takes a lot of planning and organization, but when you find a system and make it work, it’s the best of both worlds.
