Benq LCD Monitors Model FP731 Problems Is No Power

The BenQ LCD Monitor model FP731 problem is no power symptom. If you have read my previous articles, you would know that I would not immediate use all my testing gear to check the whole power and inverter board instead I would use my eyes to scan all the components first before starting to use my digital multimeter to check on the fuse and other components first.

I saw about 8 filter capacitors that had bulged and leaked on top of its capacitor casing. We have the first clue and if my assumption is right, only the capacitors that caused no power symptoms. However in order to be in the safe side we have to check other components as well.

Looking at the power primary side didn’t reveal any burnt or cracked components in the board. It is not good enough just by looking at the board, we must check few of the critical components first in order to confirm that it is safe to switch on the power after the replacement of the 8 faulty capacitors. The critical components that I referred to was the fuse, power or chopper fet (mosfet), switch mode power supply primary winding and secondary diodes. If you have the experienced, you can check all of the components on board without removing it but of course the smps primary winding you have to use a flyback tester to test it.

After all the critical components tested okay, I would presume that after the replacement of the defective capacitors, I could immediately switch on the LCD Monitor without connecting a light bulb first. There is no necessary to connect the light bulb because the power side components were tested okay besides the fuse didn’t blow in the first place.

For your information, most of the capacitors used in the LCD power supply were from the 105 degree Celsius in order to last longer and stand the heat produce by the power supply itself. If you replace with an 85 Celsius capacitor, it would not last long and may come back with capacitor problems again.

The Benq FP731 LCD Monitor problems was restored to normal operation after the 8 filter capacitors was replaced. Capacitors breakdown was very common in the LCD Monitor because of it compact design where the heat have difficulty to transfer out due to the power supply board was covered by an aluminum shielding. Sometimes after few hours of operation, you could feel the extreme heat at the aluminum shielding and surrounding area. This is a good news to us as an electronic repairer because more and more LCD Monitor send in for repair because of capacitors faults only.

Google’s Co-op is coming surprisingly late since Vertical search was hip almost two years ago. What Google has done is enabling specialized search while retaining ownership of the search traffic. Google Co-op allows site owners to choose which Web sources to crawl and let them leverage their community of users to improve that index and results. Web site owners can use the platform to launch specialized search engines focused on the areas of their expertise. Ads will be sold and served through AdSense for Search.

During the presentation for the product’s release, Google executives demonstrated several instances of vertical search sites created during the program’s testing phase. These included a custom search interface for Intuit’s small business portal JumpUp.com and one for a climate science research group, at RealClimate.org. The latter, because of its non-profit status, is not required to carry the AdSense ads that will enable Google to monetize the product. Universities and government organizations are also exempt from ads. All individuals and for-profit entities using the product, however, must accept the company’s trademark sponsored links, and will share in revenue generated by them. The revenue split is the same as that offered across the AdSense network.

Site that want to build a search engine can submit a name, description and list of sites to be crawled for results on their engine-to-be. They then will receive a chunk of code they can use to add the specialized engine to their site.

I agree with Google executives who called Google Co-op one of the company’s most important product releases in Q4. For marketers who buy keywords through AdWords, the vertical search product likely won’t bring short-term changes in the way search audience.

The technology is similar to another customized search product, Rollyo, which launched over year ago; though there are differences between the two. 5. Daftarkan situs Anda pada kategori yang tepat dan paling spesifik. Lihat juga berapa situs yang sudah terdaftar pada kategori tersebut. Usahakanlah mencari kategori dengan jumlah pesaing yang paling sedikit.
6. Daftarkan hanya halaman utama saja. Jika Anda mendaftarkan halaman-halaman lain yang merupakan sub dari halaman utama kemungkinan besar akan ditolak. Kecuali halaman tersebut benar- benar memiliki content yang langka.
7. Perhatikan berapa lama Anda bisa men-submit ulang situs Anda (misalnya 2 bulan). Jika belum terdaftar, lakukan submit ulang dalam jangka waktu tersebut.

Di sini kesabaran Anda benar-benar diuji. Yahoo setiap harinya menerima pendaftaran lebih dari 10 juta situs. Sedangkan yang bisa ditangani oleh editornya sekitar 5 sampai 10 persennya saja. Jadi, bersabarlah untuk melakukan submit ulang dalam jangka waktu yang telah ditentukan.

Perlu diingat di sini bahwa tujuan Yahoo menerima situs Anda bukan untuk membantu meningkatkan visitor situs Anda, melainkan untuk melengkapi koleksi link pada direktori yang mereka miliki. Jadi, peluang Anda untuk terdaftar akan lebih besar, jika Anda bisa memberikan situs dengan isi yang unik dan belum ada/sedikit jumlahnya pada direktori mereka.
